Blackboard seriously needs to update their servers. Even when Im connected to wifi, it struggles just to load my courses so I can check my grades. When Im on a mobile connection, I might as well forget about it ever loading even when I have full bars LTE and the use mobile data switch under cellular is ON. I might as well have flushed 2.5MB down the toilet because it wouldve been more useful and entertaining probably.

This app is always so helpful, and I love it because I can check my grades wherever!

Dont download this app unless you only want to get notifications you cant open and only want to see your course list. I figured the blackboard people would be smart enough to make an efficient app to view grades, lectures, and successfully open pop up notifications, but no. Instead they made an useless piece of crap software that does absolutely nothing helpful except waste my time.

The app is ok and it gets the job done most of the time but there are some really silly visualization decisions and its soooooo slow. Theres also a bug that Ive experienced ever since I first downloaded it 4 years ago and I cant believe it hasnt been addressed: whenever I open up a notification from my Notification Center, Im forever stuck in a loading spinny arrow page (presumably because Im not logged in). The only way out is closing the app, restarting it, logging in, and finding the file / announcement / grade that the notification was for. Ridiculous.

Its more like a screen shot of Blackboard rather than a way to access your materials.

This used to be one of the best apps. Since the update, it says my username or password is incorrect. If I use my computer or browser on my phone, my username and password works fine. It is definitely the app that is not working. Update: still doesnt work

Files never load. The app would be amazing and convenient if it would ever worked. Professors syllabi at my fingertips, notes, and PowerPoints would be available, thatd be the ultimate dream.

This app is beyond useless on an iPhone. Having quick access on my iPhone without having to constantly log in was the primary reason why I got the app. Trying to load documents is way too slow. They should be paying students to use this piece of utter trash. Would have given a much lower rating if it were an option!

Im not sure why this app is still available when there is a whole other Blackboard app that is actually updated and usable... Its confusing, especially since the first search result is this app and the new app is not visible...

Hardly ever loads even the home screen. Dont waste your phone space.

Stupid piece of crap app. It worked before but now it doesnt even load my school. Also it keeps kicking me out and saying I entered the wrong password every time I try to log in. Overall junk app. Uninstall.

Guys . . . Its blackboard. Of course it is going to freeze and go down, millions of college students use this 24 hours a day, EVERYDAY. The app is a very convenient way to get your discussion posts done because you can voice text them. Just speak slow and watch your grammar. I recommend this app!

I cant log in to blackboard and I can log in with the same username and password on the mobile site and on the computer site. This is unacceptable for an app that I have been using for 2 years.

Waste of time and money ... Dont buy it ...

Awesome app, totally love it!!! until it started not working for some reason. I never had this problem while using this app for over two years and I dont know why but from a week ago it started to not load any of my documents :( hope this issue gets solved ASAP!!

I do not like how this app takes you to the blackboard website rather than how it used to function. Previously, this app allowed us to sign in once and easily access every course through its layout. Now, this app makes you sign in every time and is extremely frustrating to use. Please fix this problem.

Fully useless.

This app is horrible. Paying $2 for just used up space in my phone. It doesnt open up any of my documents, and it just sends me back to my courses after a few mins. Having the same issues which others have been having since 2012, its 2016. Put some effort into fixing this app.
